Leica M4-P | Amsterdam | CineStill 50D | Elmar 50mm 3.5

After working at Photokina 2018 with CameraRescue and Nicolas Llasera, I realized that not too far away was the frat house of Europe - Amsterdam. I found myself in a Christian hostel who's entrance was sandwiched by two beckoning women in the heart of the Red Light District. My backpack was full of CineStill film generously given to me by the CineStill team at the end of the show.

It would be the 4th roll shot my newly purchased Leica M4-P, and coincidentally my 4th roll of CineStill as well. The second roll I shot in 2014 in New York, it was this same film the 50D. I accidentally shot it at 800ASA afraid it would come up black, I never spent the $24 it cost to find out.

I'm quite pleased with the results of this roll as the effects of CineStill came out subtly in the environment I shot it in. I shot another inside the famous Stockholm Metro, and while it was cool with all the light tubing lining the rocky ceiling, it screamed CineStill. I much prefer color rendition that gives a nice nod to the film stock used, rather than a full salute.

This roll appears in reverse order and the last [first] images are from Cologne, Germany. As well the first few images are from Delft, Netherlands.
